You can't see the difference. But you can feel it.
In 2022, we upgraded from conventional to organic extra-long staple cotton in the shirts.
Today, we are one of the only shirt brands on the market that has gone all-in on organic.
We are proud of it, and you should be too. It's not just any ordinary raw material you put on in the morning when you wear your BARONS shirt.
Below you can read about the organic cotton we source: Egyptian Giza and American Pima.

Giza, Egypt
Giza cotton is some of the rarest and most exclusive cotton in the world and is grown along the Nile and in the Nile Delta in Egypt, east of the port city of Alexandria.
In this limited area, the optimal microclimate and a thousand years of know-how in growing cotton optimally are found. The result is cotton with the longest fibers.
We have chosen to use only the organic type, which is extremely rare and represents the absolute top of the cotton market, even in Egypt.
We use organic Giza cotton with extra-long fibers for our dyed yarn, which is part of our colored shirt models. Giza is used because of its extremely long fiber length, strength, and softness.

California, USA
Only 3% of global cotton production qualifies to be in the extra-long staple (ELS) category.
This means an average fiber length of over 35mm, which requires the most optimal growing conditions.
It is found, among other places, in the San Joaquin Valley in central California, where about 90% of the world's PIMA cotton is grown.
We use organic US-PIMA for our white shirts due to the extremely high purity of the cotton and stable quality.
